Meet the Say More Academy Facilitators

Kiersten

Kiersten Kanaster, M.M., is Founder, Facilitator and Coach at Beyond High C. Kiersten combines her masters degree in Voice Performance and Pedagogy with her experience as a professional musical theater actor and the great advice and counsel of her growing bullpen of trusted speech therapists to create programs that help people with aphasia and survivors of stroke and brain injury achieve their speech goals.

Kiersten lives and works in Virginia, where there is never a dull moment thanks to her energetic 10 year old son and their many foster golden retriever rescue dogs.

nicole

Nicole Wood, B.A., is Director of the Self Study Program, Facilitator and a Coach at Beyond High C. Nicole uses the creativity she has cultivated as a professional singer, actor and teacher to produce interesting and meaningful exercises for Say More Academy. She is committed to doing this important work with you with energy and care!

Nicole lives and works in Minnesota, and loves to run the Walt Disney World Marathon with her sister!

Sierra

Sierra Fisk, B.A., finds a lot of joy in building community and connecting people in new ways. Sierra studied theatre at UC San Diego. Not only is she a theatre producer and acting coach in Los Angeles, she is a sensitive and compassionate coach who cares very deeply about the challenges and success of our participants!

Sierra goes off the grid for a bit each summer, volunteering at a camp for at-risk youth on an island!

Courtney

Courtney Moon, B.A., graduated from California State University, Long Beach, where she studied communication. Courtney cares very much about the goals and struggles our participants face. She loves offering a mix of fun and useful exercises to help to foster big speech progress. She draws on her Disney, musical theater and teaching experience to entertain and support participants. Courtney lives in Southern California where she also shares her talents with the School of Rock.

Courtney often finds herself stuck in bed under her big cuddly cat, Prince.

Alix

Alix Angelis, B.A., studied at UC Santa Barbara and NYU. She is a working actor and a mom. Alix is a great listener and coach with a very calming demeanor.

Alix has an identical twin sister and they grew up on a small farm with free range cows and horses!
